The arrested include Jarrod Ryan Hardin, 31, of Newark; Patrick Francis Alexander, 27, of Sacramento; and Antonio M. Rodriguez, 22, of Fremont. All three were booked into Santa Rita Jail. The men were 36, 26 and 25 years old. Their names were not released and it was not known if they were related to each other or were friends. The shooting happened about 10:19 p.m. in the 2500 block of 38th Avenue. The men were driving in a car when they were shot at from an unknown location, police said. Because of his lifelong dedication to youth and sports, he was inducted into the Easter Seals/Kaleidoscope Tri-Valley Sports Hall of Fame as the first recipient of the Bob Vincent Community Service Award back in 2004. The recognition did little to slow down his work with youth, however, and as of today he has logged in 43 years working with the European league and 32 years working for the American league in Danville. The community service award was created to recognize individuals who have played an outstanding role in Tri-Valley athletics and was named after Bob Vincent, a longtime San Ramon Valley High School coach who died in January 2003 at the age of 80.
